Now your computer has a body.
The Product is Presence
AI video avatars are expensive, laggy, and trapped in “uncanny valley” boxes.
avalonOS solves this by bringing high-fidelity, fully expressive 3D avatars directly into
the browser in real-time at 1/30th the cost of video.
We’ve built a developer SDK to give the internet a body. Instead of just talking heads, our 360-degree full-body agents “walk the web” to autonomously execute tasks like booking flights or triaging inboxes across sites. Browsing is over. avalonOS gives your computer a body.
The web is just the first surface. Our embodied AI agents will live in VR, in AR glasses, in robots — anywhere a human needs to look something in the eye. avalonOS is the operating system for that interface, wherever it shows up.
About Jill Bourque, CEO avalonOS
Twenty years of inventing live experiences taught me something the AI industry is still catching up to. Not content. Not capability. Being present in the room.
I learned this running How We First Met for fifteen years — watching real couples and improvisers create connection on stage in 10 countries. I rebuilt it at scale during the pandemic, when my VC-backed start-up RushTix became the biggest digital comedy club on Earth in nine months. And I started prototyping it in 2016 with Roscoe, the two-time IBM Watson Award–winning bot — a decade before ChatGPT.
avalonOS is the version that works.
